The Aestii. The Western Balts
“The Aestii”. Who are they? Where do they originate from? When did they exist? All these three “who, where and when” pose countless questions but provide few answers. This book as if should clarify who the Aestii were from the ethnic perspective, where they originated from and who they were in terms of inhabited areas and culture. “The Aestii” is not based solely on archaeological data. The book contains abundant insertions from historical, linguistic and early written sources.
